40 new living room suites are coming to Parkland soon

After a very stressful year, one Parkland resident was ready for a change from bones to beauty.
“The last year really took a toll on me, and it was time to leave Camp Canine,” said Lisa Schettino, owner of the Margate day care, grooming and boarding school for 21 years.
Schettino knew she needed to do something else and decided to open a collection of premium beauty and wellness suites with hairdressers, medical professionals, eyelash and nail technicians, chiropractors. , beauticians, permanent makeup artists, etc.
After researching the perfect spot, she contacted the owner of Riverstone Plaza about six weeks ago.
“It all fell into place and they were able to offer me the space I wanted,” she said.
Located inside the Riverstone Shoppes, north of Hillsboro Boulevard, the 18,000 square foot space, which once housed the Crunch Gym, will be split to accommodate multiple suites.
“This is the perfect location for me,” said Schettino, whose portion will occupy approximately 8,000 square feet.
Thrilled to own the only hair salons in Parkland, Schettino believes the city needs this type of business.
Its goal is to build 40 suites of assorted sizes, including single, double and premium options for various budgets and needs. Soon she will apply for permits and hopes to open before the winter break.
It will be an incredible facility, very upscale living room suites with an open concept, glass walls, chandeliers and a beautiful lobby, said the mother of two at Pine Tree Estates.
“So many people are looking for sequels right now… the reaction I’ve had before is amazing.”
