Dallas Nail Artists Share Top Seasonal Trends You Should Try
After months of painting our own nails, getting a new professional manicure has never looked better. That said, the limitless options in a living room now seem overwhelming. To help you plan ahead, we asked local nail experts to share this summer’s hottest trends. Ashley Tran, owner of Verbena Parlor + Social House, steps in, as does Nina, an artist from the Rose Couture Nail Bar who counts some of Dallas’ biggest influencers among her clients.
Shapes and lengths
Nina recommends an almond shape if you have medium length nails. This shape works well whether you choose a solid color or a pattern. This season, clients with long nails are drawn to coffin shapes – think square nail edges and corners.
Staying true to the classics is always a safe bet. From there, you can layer eye-catching details. “Customers love light pink and nude pink because they go with everything and always look basic and straightforward,” says Nina.
Ashley explains that detailed designs are still on trend. Verbena Parlor clients are asking for flower designs, bohemian-inspired designs, tiny designs created with brushes and colorful abstract styles.
