Diversified Partners recently announced that a 17-acre mixed-use development is planned at the northeast corner of Ellsworth Road and Elliot Road in Mesa.

The Elliot Technology Corridor, which includes Apple, Edgecore, Dignity Health and the upcoming Google site, will house the project which will include medical, office and retail components. The development is directly north of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, a hub for more than 1.5 million travelers per year, according to a statement.

East Gate Plaza is also adjacent to Eastmark, a planned community with 15,000 homes on completion. Ellsworth Road has the highest volume of traffic in the town of Mesa, which has a population of 511,000.

Diversified Partners has several ongoing deals that include restaurants, retail, convenience / gas stations, coffee, desserts, nail salons and dental / orthodontic users, etc.

“We are creating a destination community, playing on the technology corridor theme, which means there will be lots of glass, angular lines and rich materials such as masonry, roll-up doors and exposed steel elements. “Dane Astle, principal architect and owner EDIFICE, said in the statement.

“We’re creating a collaborative environment where people will come to work, take coffee breaks on benches under the trees, and stay for retail and restaurant experiences. By including a refueling station, we add to the overall vision of the campus design, ”said Mr. Astle. “The site will be very activated with architectural touches to make it stand out,” he said.

“The explosive business growth along Elliot and Ellsworth, proximity to three freeways, the expansion of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, a new sports complex, and thousands of new homes planned and underway are good indications that this project will serve a much larger future audience, ”Walt Brown, founder and CEO of Diversified Partners, said in the release. “We greatly appreciate all of the help the town of Mesa has provided to move this project forward.”
