Jade Thirlwall provides an update on Little Mix’s maternity leave
Jade Thirlwall sells her Little Mix bandmates Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have been sleeping very little since they both became moms.
Edwards and Pinnock welcomed their first children within days of each other in August and have since been on maternity leave following their music career.

Pinnock had twins with QPR forward Andre Gray, while Edwards had a son, named Axel, with Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
“They say they just can’t sleep anymore, they don’t know sleep exists now – there isn’t any more,” Thirlwall told FM104 radio station in Dublin.

Thirlwall confessed that she had a hard time deciding what gifts to buy her friends to mark their new arrivals, just “everybody give them their clothes and everything.”
She said it was Ed Sheeran who helped her find the perfect gift, after a chat they had over drinks following the Euro 2020 competition.

“He used to tell me that when he had his baby everyone always forgot about the mom and that they might need something too,” Thirlwall said.
“I was like ‘this is great advice.’ I think I’ll give the girls something like an in-house spa day to treat themselves.”
Little Mix is about to release their successful debut album, titled Between us – in November, combining 18 of their existing hits with five new songs.
The first single from the album, Love sweet love), was released earlier this month with a music video shot during Pinnock and Edwards’ pregnancies.

This is the first new song the group has released as a trio, after Jesy Nelson left the group in December 2020.
Between us, with hits like Wings and Black magic, is slated for release on November 12.
