These 7 cute nail colors are trendy and so photogenic
Granted, a year and over in my forties has left me pretty sloppy when it comes to my nails. With nowhere to go and no one to see, why bother painting them and patiently wait for them to dry? Of course, that all changed once summer arrived and my social calendar filled up. Now I’m obsessed with giving myself DIY manicure at home, making sure to change my nail polish every week.
We usually associate bright and neon colors with summer, but the current of 2021 nail color trends cover a range of shade categories – from chic neutrals to pretty pastels, and yes, of course, still plenty of shiny. And while these shades look great on a basic solid manicure, they’re also perfect for fitting into your choice of nail art designs.
Coming up, I’ve rounded up the seven cute nail colors for summer. No matter nail shape whether you choose – whether it’s short and round or long stilettos – adorning your fingers with any of these shades is key to elevating your summery look.
While I love all the colors on this list, this one has to be my favorite by far. What screams more “summer” than painting your nails a refreshing shade of lime green? Go for pale pastel tones for a more subtle look, or go for a brighter shade.
