The second season of Euphoria may be over, but that doesn’t mean your manicure game has to be. The creative spirit behind Euphoria‘s best nail art has teamed up with beauty brand ManiMe to offer Maddy and Cassie level manicures that you can actually do in minutes at home. Yes, squeeze designs are so awesome.
Nathalie Minerva, who worked as the lead nail artist for the HBO drama during season 2, designed four looks with ManiMe – all of which are purchasable from Tuesday, March 8 — and two of them are inspired by Euphoria’s leading ladies, played by Sydney Sweeney and Alexa Demie.
The first design, “Never Been Happier” ($25), is one you’ve seen virtually all season: Cassie Howard’s peach-colored diamond stud set that has served her well in bathtubs and beyond. . We saw those diamond nails when Cassie frantically got ready for Nate for hours before school via her 4am beauty routine, but the most iconic glimpse came from the season’s most memorable scene. These are the nails Cassie wore when she tearfully declared in the girls bathroom that she had have never been so happyhence the cheeky name of this set.
The second Euphoria home manicure kit, “Are You Kidding Me?” ($25), is inspired by Maddy Perez’s Cage Nails and named after the same bathroom scene as the Cassie-inspired set. Remember when Cassie asks Maddy if she looks like a country music star in a good way or a bad way? Yeah, internet too.
“Are you kidding me?” features the same black and white criss-cross pattern we saw on Maddy in Season 2 of Euphoria. The fishnet pattern is sprinkled with rhinestone-inspired glitter drops to add an element of 3D texture to the look.
ManiMe is a brand that uses 3D technology to design and print gel pressure manicures that do not require any UV lamps. Literally press the gel sticker, file and go in less than 15 minutes. Manicure sets, designed to fit the exact shape and size of your nails, are available in a range of classic colors, traditional looks and nail artist collaborations like the Minerva range.
Maddy and Cassie-inspired gel manicures aren’t the only ones in Minerva’s new collection. You can also grab two other designs, “Ice Cream Dreams” and “Disco in the Desert,” which were inspired by the famed nail artist’s love of Coachella. Mani’s old set combines neon pastels with negative space for a truly dreamy effect. The latter is more monochromatic, combining matte lilac with shimmering orchid, and is inspired by the disco ball nail texture Minerva made her Instagram debut earlier this year. The four manicure sets offer a touch of whimsy that would make them perfectly suited for the hallways of Euphoriait’s East Highland High School or in a VIP cabana at Coachella.
